Translation requests
When an authorized administrator starts a translation, selected page or post content and workflow instructions are sent from that WordPress website to OpenAI using the customer’s API key. The exact content depends on the page and selected options.
Information not needed by the seller
The seller’s licensing server does not need the customer’s OpenAI API key, raw prompts, or translated page content to validate a license. Customers should not send these secrets to support.
License validation
The customer plugin contacts the seller’s licensing API to activate and periodically validate a license. The request may include the license key or derived identifier, domain, site URL, installation identifier, plugin version, and status information required for activation limits, security, downloads, and updates.
Administrator responsibility
The administrator is responsible for deciding which content is submitted, having the right to process it, informing relevant users where required, and avoiding unnecessary submission of passwords, payment details, private form entries, health records, or other sensitive information.
AI review
AI output may be inaccurate. Review translations and metadata before publication, especially for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, regulated, or contractual content.
Third-party terms
OpenAI processing is governed by the customer’s OpenAI account and applicable policies. TranslatePress, WordPress, payment providers, hosting companies, and SEO plugins are separate third parties with their own terms and privacy practices.
